Community Service

Community service is an active, creative, and popular part of the Loomis Chaffee experience. Given the opportunity, a great majority of our students choose to "give back" something to the community and do so with enthusiasm and wonderful generosity of time and spirit. Our students reach out and help others because they really want to, and herein lies the true meaning and value for them and their recipients, and the success of the program.

Hartford Hospital Volunteer Opportunity

Students aged 14 and older are invited to apply to volunteer at Hartford Hospital this summer in a variety of areas: nursing, book cart, clerical, transport, meal mates, etc.

Applicants must be available at least five weeks in a row and able to complete at least 50 hours of service between June 28 and August 27.
